Our little Canyon is a RASCAL! He has a few games of shenanigans he plays throughout the day. Here you have witnessed the first one. Unrolling the toilet paper roll and then playing with it. Another favorite act of mischief that Canyon loves to do: spilling the dog water, laying belly down it it, and then splashing. This one is fun because I usually have to change all of his clothes because he is soaking wet. Canyon has figured out how to take the batteries out of the back of the remote control for our TV and somehow the batteries go missing on a daily basis. Sometimes we spent an hour looking around for batteries just so the remote will work! One thing that he has done recently: crawling away at lightening speed when I am changing his diaper, he crawls to the couch, pulls himself up on it, and pees. Yes, pee pee all over the floor. Of course this all happens before I can grab him. (Changing tables are no longer safe for my little wiggle worm.) My favorite part of all of this? When I ask Canyon "Did you spill Aspen's water?" or "did you unroll the toilet paper roll?" he shakes his head no with a big smile on his face. How do they learn to be so mischievousness?Daniel and I have our work cut out for us. Good think we both have experience dealing with delinquents:) Even though my day is filled with trying to teach Canyon how to be a good baby, I wouldn't change it for the world! He is the cutest little rascal I have ever seen.

WALKING!!
Canyon is walking. Already. He is only 10 months old! He is so excited and has a huge smile on his face when he is walking from place to place. At first he would only walk in between Daniel and I. Then he would walk to the furniture if I helped him balance. Now he is letting go of furniture by himself and walking and walking around. He gets braver everyday and is now walking big gaps all by himself. He even figured out how to walk in bewteen the rows of chairs at church and is now constantly trying to escape. Yeah, I am going to be one of those parents who have to chase their kids up to the pupit several times during sacrament meeting. I am so proud of my little guy. It is opening a whole new world of things he gets into, but he couldn't be happier!

Little Canyon

We got Canyon's pictures taken recently and gave them to the grandparents for Christmas. Isn't he cute! I have been so excited to post these. I found a really good photographer that took awesome pictures. (Her website is jessieonealphotograpy.com, check her out) The first couple of pictures are of Canyon in the car. After we were all done taking pictures, I put Canyon in the back seat to play and get out of the cold while I paid the photographer. He started playing and smiling more than he had the entire time she was taking pictures so she got her camera back out and shot a few more pics. They turned out so cute!
