The Happiest Place on Earth

For Christmas Daniel's parents surprised us with a trip to....
Disneyland!!!
So the beginning of May we packed up our little family (and yes-our 3 month old baby) and flew to Disneyland. For those of you who know Daniel and I, know that we love Disneyland more than the average child. We were so excited to take Canyon and Oakley there. Oakley did a lot better than we thought he would and Canyon did a little worse. So it evened out quite nicely.
We got a 5 day pass into Disneyland which was perfect amount of time (I told you-we LOVE Disneyland!). The lines were short and the weather was warm. It was so much fun to see Canyon for the first time in Disneyland. He was so excited about everything. He went on all the rides he could. The train that went around the park was his favorite ride.
He also loved Dumbo of course!

Canyon and Goofy!

Canyon and Lydia walked around the park holding hands. If Canyon was more than 3 feet away from Lydia at any given moment-there was a major melt down.

The gang on the Jungle Cruise.

The family in front of Pirates. Notice Canyon had on a Pirates of the Caribbean shirt. He ended up being a little scared of this ride. Oakley on the other hand went right to sleep every time he rode on it!

C is for Canyon-that's good enough for me!

Canyon got to see Mater and Lightening McQueen in real life. He was so excited!!

Canyon and Daniel riding Autopia.

Mickey Mouse!!!

Little Oakley was the best baby ever! He just rode in his stroller, slept on the rides, and wanted to eat occasionally. He got to ride It's a Small World, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, the Train, and some of the kiddie rides in Fantasy Land. What a little sweetheart :)

Canyon had to have some time outs. Yup-even in Disneyland.

Kisses from Minnie. After that Canyon totally had a crush on her. When he went to pick out a souvenir on our last day in Disneyland- he wanted a Minnie stuffed animal.

Dancing to parade music in front of the castle.

Waterfalls at the Disneyland Hotel.

Woody made of Lego's.

The family at California Adventure.

Jared, Canyon Jesse, and Lydia.

This little water park in Bugs Life Land was Canyon very favorite thing to play in at Disneyland. We let him wear his swimsuit into Disneyland just so he could play and play and play in the water...

The trip went too quickly and before we knew it we were back on the plane. It was so much fun! Canyon still talks about going to Disneyland and tells me regularly that he wants to go back to the hotel and back to Disneyland. Maybe some day :) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Furr!!! We had such a blast.
Highlights and Memories:
*The absolute chaos of getting the kids through the airport, on the plane, off the plane, on the bus, off the bus, and into the hotel
*Canyon HATING the airplane
*Walks in Downtown Disney after the park closed
*Canyon falling off the bed-getting wedged between the bed and the wall-yet somehow still managed to stay asleep
*Oakley watching Canyon on the Carousel
*Churros
*The duck that attacked Daniel and literally hit him in the face with it's wing
*Canyon's first look at the train-then the sobbing that followed because the train left him behind
*Popcorn
*Eating at the Mexican restaurant inside Disneyland
*Canyon saying over and over "Canyon's turn!"
*Bambi wall paper in the baby station
*Daniel and I getting a few minutes to ourselves in Disneyland (thanks everyone!)
